Summer has started and I'm involved in several exciting projects over the next few months!
I'm currently playing with the Flemish Opera orchestra in a retake of the much acclaimed production by Calixto Bieito of Kurt Weil and Bertolt Brecht's "Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny", which plays until july 7th.
The annual Nadar Summer Academy is well on its way as well. I'm coaching guitar as well as some of John Zorn's game pieces. Come check out the closing concert on friday july 8th!
By the end of july I'll be headed to Darmstadt once more for the bi-annual Ferienkurse for Neue Musik. I will perform a new piece created with Zwerm and François Sarhan called "Commodity Music" next to a performance of Eva Reiter's "Lichtenberg Figures" with the Ictus ensemble. Maybe see you there!
